Sitting in a tiny bay, one of many that line the edge of Lough Foyle. The first thing I notice is the beautiful vivid colours of the seaweed, bladderwack and algae. Dark reddy brown, edged with orange, soft yellow, like old gold and copper and bright green, a colour pallet laid out in front of me.
I couldn’t resist also hand-weaving a small collection of scarves, like the every changing seaweed as the gentle tide rolls in and out, each scarf is unique.
