Coming out of lockdown I wanted to create a blanket in a very specific colour that could lift our spirits. Then I realised that I was witnessing the yellow ochre all around me, a joyous and warm colour. Bright yellow seemed to be a hopeful colour, it felt just right to create a blanket in bright golden yellow at this very specific moment in time.
